Introducing PushTower
We built PushTower because sending a push notification to your own phone should be as simple as a single API call. No SDKs. No dashboards. No 47-step setup process.
Why We Built This
Every developer has had the same thought: “I just want my phone to buzz when X happens.” Whether it’s a deploy finishing, a 3D print completing, a server going down, or Bitcoin hitting a price target — the use case is simple, but the existing solutions aren’t.
Most push notification services are built for apps with millions of users. They come with SDKs, dashboards, audience segments, A/B testing, and a pricing page that requires a sales call.
We wanted something different.
How It Works
- Download the app
- Create a channel
curlthe API
That’s the whole setup. One HTTP request and your phone buzzes.
What’s Next
We’re just getting started. Here’s what’s coming:
- Android support — Currently iOS-only, Android is next
- More integrations — GitHub Actions, Grafana, Home Assistant
- Webhooks — Get notified when notifications are delivered or read
- Teams — Share channels across your team
